The XXV edition of Applied Economics Meeting will be held at the Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha-Campus Toledo on June 1-2, 2023. The program will consist of contributed and invited paper sessions. We accept contributions from a broad spectrum of applied economics and econometrics topics.

Prospective contributors are invited to submit electronically the final version of their papers before March 8th, 2023 by using the Conference Maker.

The Applied Economics Meeting is open to the participation of the international scientific community, so that the official languages ​​are Spanish and English. The papers written in English can be assigned to a session in which it is the working language. Meeting organization encourages participants to present and defend their papers in English.

Call for Papers for Applied Economic Analysis Special Issue 2023 for the 25th Anniversary of the Applied Economic Meeting. Authors of selected highquality papers from the Applied Economic Meeting will be invited to submit their papers for possible publication in a special issue of Applied Economic Analysis scheduled for 2023.

Authors should submit their paper via the journal’s website. Regular journal standards apply. The deadline for submitting papers is March 8th, 2023.

Applied Economic Analysis is an Open Access journal with no publication fee and an impact factor of 1.042 (JCR, 2021). Moreover, the journal Scopus Citescore is tracking at 2.4 in 2022 (updated monthly).

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 2023

1. The Prize will be for the best paper whose author or authors are under 35 years old. All full papers (submitted by the deadline) stating their willingness to participate in the contest will be considered for the prize.

2. The jury will be composed of the Scientific Committee of the Meeting or by those members of the Committee in which it delegated. The jury will choose the decision based on a system of objective scores. The jury will also take into account the views of the chairman of the different sessions.

3. The amount of the Prize will be 1,000.00 euros (one thousand euros). This prize is donated by Ediciones de la Revista de Economía Aplicada, editor of Applied Economics Analysis.

4. In exceptional and duly justified cases, the jury may award two papers, and the prize will be divided equally. The jury also may award one Special mention that will have an economic payment of 500.00 euros (five hundred euros). The prize may be declared void.

5. At the beginning of the Meeting, the jury will announce the finalists for the ALdE Young Researcher Award, whose authors commit (at least one author of each paper) to be present at the closing dinner where the jury’s verdict will be made public. This verdict is final.

6. Participation in the contest implies full acceptance of these rules.
